PLACING YOUR ORDER
We have two exclusive boutiques in Finland and also this e-commerce shop. We’re experienced! This means you can feel confident about the purchase of your beautiful dress.
When you have chosen your dream dress, it’s time to get excited and officially begin your little journey with ATELJÈ KATARIINA.
- On your dress’ page, click ‘Add to cart’. The page will ask you to choose close up and the color in some cases. Don’t worry about sizing, we’ll confirm the details according to our size chart using your measurements in the next step.
- Once we have received your order, we’ll send you an email requesting the professional measurements of your bust, waist and hip and also we check all other important details with you.
- Once we have received your details, we’ll match you to the generic sizing of our size chart. You are not required to do anything else at this stage, besides plan the rest of your big day, of course!
- Once you receive your dress, alterations / tweaks are very common. All alteration costs are covered by the customer.
If you have any questions before or after ordering, don’t hesitate to email us.
Unfortunately, changes cannot be accepted once the order has been processed.
Timing and delivery
Please give us 24-48 hours to respond to your enquiry. Also, please note office staff do not work on the weekends, so all emails sent on the weekend will receive a reply the following one to two working days afterwards. We are based in Oulu, Finland and follow public holidays for the state.
We prefer our customers to receive their dress at least one to two months before the party day. Delivery time for order is aprox.4-6 months depending on the season. If your party is sooner and you are an Finnish client, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for rush approval.
When your dress is ready to be delivered, we are always in touch with you.
The product is delivered in domestic orders via Matkahuolto to the customer's nearest Matkahuolto delivery point. Delivery fee is 25 €.
For international orders, the delivery fee is € 80.
When you receive your dress
Please try on the dress as soon as possible without make-up, lotions or fake-tan.
We make your dress according to the size that the measurements you gave us.ALL GOWNS AT ATELJÈ KATARIINA ARE MADE-TO-ORDER. THAT MEANS THEY ARE MADE TO YOUR CLOSEST STANDARD SIZE AND ALTERATIONS ARE DONE THROUGH EITHER ATELJÈ KATARIINA OR A THIRD PARTY DRESS MAKER. All alteration costs are covered by the customer.
We highly recommend all our clients have their measurements professionally taken. Because each body is exceptional, you might find that going to a local alterations shop is an easy way to make the dress fit exactly how you like it to fit.
In the rare occasion you think we have made a mistake with the measurements, please send us a few photos and we’ll happily ensure that it is fixed up at our cost. Unfortunately, we can only cover costs if the misfit is brought to our attention within 24 hours of delivery.
Your dress is made specifically for you, so unfortunately we cannot offer a refund. Fortunately, so far, this has not been a problem. If, before you order, you would like to see more photos of your design, we are happy to send you more images. The dresses we have for our photo shoots are the same dress as the samples in our boutiques, and will be the same as your dress.
Change of Mind
Unfortunately we do not refund due to change of mind. If we haven’t started your dress you are more than welcome to change your order but we cannot refund. We cannot either refund you if you feel that dress does not suit you, as this dress was made specifically for you.
We ship worldwide. Import duties, taxes and custom charges are not included in the price and are the responsibility of the buyer. The amount charged is at the discretion of the customs agency within the destination country and is determined, in part, by the value of the item/s. Payment of duties and taxes are due at collection/delivery. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what additional cost will be added prior to purchase.
We always fill in the CN22 or CN23 customs clearance label for all packages outside the EU. In addition to this, the package will include an invoice with the necessary customs tariffs. It is a good idea to choose an address from which the recipient can be reached during office hours on weekdays. If there are any delays or other problems with the delivery of the packages, please contact our customer service.
